Conceived on the wings of underground theatre and circus, Steam Trunk is comprised of husband and wife, Christian and Juniper Fletcher. The maiden voyage of their company began with the release of their 2007 line, “Arrive In A Timely Fashion”.

Style-wise, this duo weaves a rich tale of textiles with elements of antiqued brass, pinstripe and ruffle. Having coined the term "Antique street-wear", Steam Trunk fuses a bygone era with modern sensibilities. Staying true to a timeless, boutique quality of clothing, they produce limited editions and small runs of apparel. They have a strong focus on durable garments and ethical responsibility during production. Juniper also sews and constructs costumes for the SF based theatrical circus, Vau De Vire Society and couture for fashion shows.

The year 2009 saw the culmination of the Five and Diamond Collective, formed to share resources and knowledge. At present, Steam Trunk's 2010/2011 Collection can be found in 14 stores across North America.
